Communication Internship Offered at WWF Northeast China Programme Office

Job position: Communication Intern

Place: WWF Northeast China Programme Office(Changchun/Harbin)

Report to: The Head of Northeast China Programme Office
       
Functions:
     

I   Act as assistant of the operation of tiger/leopard website

II  Act as assistant of Tiger Alive Initiative communicator to implement communication work relating AHEC programme

III Act as communication activities facilitator of Northeast China Programme Office for China part of Amur-Heilong Eco-region Complex

Duties and Responsibilities

I  Act as assistant of the operation of tiger/leopard website

1. Maintain partnership with local partners to keep the operation of tiger/leopard conservation communication network and provide communication capacity building for partners

2. Collect the news and stories from tiger/leopard conservation communication network and upload them to the tiger/leopard website

3. Maintain the operation of the website and upgrade the webpage according to tiger/leopard conservation progress

4. Evaluate the influence of the website and improve it according to the evaluation

5. Take the website as a public engagement platform to design and carry out tiger/leopard conservation campaign

II Facilitate TAI communication event, campaign

1. Act as assistant of Tiger Alive Initiative communicator to implement communication work relating AHEC programme

III Act as communication activities facilitator of Northeast China Programme Office for China part of AHEC to ensure

1. Design and carry out communication activity based on different modules of NEC Office

2. Magnify the communication activity with various platforms, such as tiger/leopard website and mass media partner

Working Relationships:

1. Internal: Immediate supervisor is the Head of WWF Northeast China Programme Office.

2. External: Regular interactions with project partners, government officials, other NGOs, local communities, etc.
